In 2025, Chișinău will host for the very first time a large-scale sporting event – the Chisinau Half Marathon by OM. Scheduled for April 13, this marathon is set to become one of the most significant highlights of the sports calendar in the Republic of Moldova.
Three Distances for All Levels of Preparation
The Chisinau Half Marathon by OM offers various opportunities for participation, catering to both experienced runners and beginners:
- Half Marathon – 21.097 km: an individual race for those ready to push their limits.
- 10.5 km Race: a perfect distance for intermediate-level runners.
- Relay – 21 km: a team race, ideal for sharing the joy of running with friends or colleagues.
KIDS Chisinau Half Marathon 2025 – A Start for Little Champions!
On the day before the main event, April 12, the youngest sports enthusiasts will have the chance to begin their running journey at the KIDS Chisinau Half Marathon 2025. This special competition is designed for children aged 5 to 13 and includes the following distances:
- 400 m: for children aged 5-6;
- 800 m: for children aged 7-8;
- 1200 m: for children aged 9-10;
- 2000 m: for children aged 11-13.
